Magic is, more or less, real; depending on how you define it.
The basic premise is that you can create real world results from the thoughts in your head.
Visualizing an imaginary result and then bringing it to pass is, ultimately, magic.
Now, whether you believe in magic, (because it is perfectly reasonable to not believe in magic) there are people in power throughout the world who do believe in magic. They believe that, through magical means, they can steal your freedom to add to their own.
It’s not really within the scope of a single post to explain “magick” to the satisfaction of the average person who does not already believe. For those on the fence, or for those who have learned of the magical nature of their rulers, it is much easier to wrap your head around what I’m telling you. Beyond the basics, people unironically calling themselves wizards and sorcerers have mastered manipulating “intangibles,” which is complicated to explain, so I’ll pass, for now.

Say you are trying to negotiate with someone and you already know, to the penny, what is in their bank account? This gives you an advantage.
At no point is it ever advantageous for governments, corporations, or NGOs to share information. These bodies all rely on occultism, both the magic and non-magic kind.

The people telling these families what to do are who are really in charge (sometimes referred to as “The Parents”) and they believe in a multi-faceted deity, in simple terms. They believe in all gods and that they can incorporate those gods into one of their multiple personalities… “god forms.”
They believe that accessing their god forms are on par with self-actualization.
Torturing and sexually abusing children is part of this religion because it creates people with multiple “god forms” and these abused children go on to be actors, athletes, politicians, etc, so that they can “influence” behaviors in the manner of an occult god.

Personally, I find these beliefs to be abhorrent. However, I do think that people should be made aware, so that they can protect themselves. Tricking the populace into thinking people aren’t practicing blackmagic was a good trick. It’s hard to get people to see what is right in front of them because those who practice it communicate in a wordless language of symbols and juxtaposition.
I also believe that white magic is being deleted from history and the only place to learn about White magic, in the modern age, is to invert what the black magic practitioners are doing. Double inversion isn’t always a good thing, though.
Being mindful and being grateful for what is good in your life is a good place to start. This is the easiest white magic. By recognizing what is good, you also are less accepting of what is bad.
You will notice you feel better and do better, the moment you start cutting out black magic influences in your life. Malignant narcissists/ high conflict people are the best place to start. By cutting off contact with evil people, you’ve made the most important first step. You will also identify how evil they are, because the really nasty ones will lose their minds when you cut them off.
Vices are the next thing to abandon. Drugs are, essentially, black magic potions. To merely do drugs, without a purpose, is black magic.
There are a lot of simple things that add up to net positives that you can adopt to improve your quality of life. The first is “cursing.” There is a reason they are called “curse” words. They invite negativity. If you stop using bad language, your life will improve.
Telling your kids they are worthless will lead to them growing up to feel worthless and, therefore, more likely to act worthless. Use self-fulfilling prophecy and basic assumption theory to build better, more positive realities for yourself.
When you “spell” out your dreams of success, you are casting a spell. Call it self fulfilling prophecy, neuroscience, whatever you’d like. You need to write down what you want and how you envision acquiring what you want. In simple terms, this is merely making an outline. You should “spell” out your life at regular intervals so you can participate in controlling your own destiny.
Ritualizing your success is also important. Have a morning ritual that makes you feel better. Have rituals with your family. Ritualize the right way to do things without being too inflexible that you can’t change when you find a better way. Write down your ideal, productive day; week; month; year; 5 year; 10 year; 25 year; 100 year plan. Adhere to it and see where it takes you.
As to “god forms,” know that you, too, can access god forms without the torture and abuse. For example, when a person becomes a parent, their perception of their own self changes and their behavior, wants needs and desires change.
You too, can put yourself in different mind sets to maximize the best results for each situation. There is power in being mercurial.
The Stanford Prison Experiment elucidates how easy it is for people to fall into established, archetypal mind sets. People fall into a prisoner or prison guard mind set very easily. You, too, if you arrange your environment correctly, can easily fall into any number of mind sets, if you plan it correctly.
