I did not want to post this, but so many of our veterans are suffering. And this goddamn country hates them. They suffered, scrambling about and worrying for their very lives, while we sat and watched the evening news. Everything was okay. Well, these boys (and girls) are home and suffering. Nobody cares, they are killing themselves in record numbers. Good men (and women) who fought for this country for apparently no reason, thanks to fuck joe biden and our amazing and spectacular defeat in Afghanistan. So many good soldiers died there, fuck joe biden.
I understand what you're saying, but one thing -- there is no draft. There hasn't been one for a long time. Most veterans signed up voluntarily. They themselves decided to become professional soldiers. That job description involves doing what you are told, and killing people you don't even know. They signed up for this themselves. So if they decide down the road that it was all pointless ... tough. Deal with it.
All wars are bankers wars. All you did was help to bleed your people out.
