Can someone move this to where it belongs?
Typical OBE. I'll bet the room looked a bit grainy as well, right? (you see through longer wavelengths when you astral travel, which give you lower resolution images than you get through your eyes. You're seeing in infra red.)
The reason for the tentacles etc is because our perception of reality is constructed in our minds as a function of the structure of our minds, and we don't usually see literal reality in the original analog encoding. (For a demonstration of that, try listening to the famous laurel/yanni audio file, or looking at the photo of the dress.) When you alter the state of your mind, the perception of reality changes with it since the decoding is altered.
So what do you suppose I was actually seeing instead of tentacles?
What makes you think they weren't really tentacles?
Pretty strange. I’m inclined to not think it’s spiritual since I don’t believe in shit.
Similar experience many years ago. This event happened just as a family member had passed away to the second/minute. Family was expecting this person to pass in the coming days (hospice). I was actually in another country when this happened and what happened as described was part 1 of 2 but the first part related to your experience.
Just got in bed, lights out but moon light coming in from partly closed blinds and just closed my eyes and about 1 minute later if that this happened. I don't fall asleep quickly and certainly wasn't tired enough and thoughts running through my head about my family member.
Had an out of body experience which lasted about 5 seconds, which I didn't attempt to do this, it just happened as if something else was pulling me out. I was laying on my right side, eye level to my left arm, I could see my back, shoulders, top/back of my head. I had no control over what I was seeing, couldn't move, I was just viewing, like I was just floating in place and I had no spirit body that I could tell, no sense of muscle or weight. I could see myself breathing (body torso area expending, contracting) so it was real-time. Everything was solid black but I saw the outline of my body (white line), saw my spine in great detail that looked like bone. After a very brief moment I saw electricity shoot from my spine outwards all over my body which I could see and I saw my body start to sit up in bed and instantly I was back in my body, still in the motion of sitting up and opened my eyes and had that involuntary shiver/shake as if you get that cold chill that starts from your spine.
I was confused, excited and wondering wtf as that never happened before.
This ends part 1.
I'm a believer in spiritual stuff, ghosts, spirits etc as I have had multiple actual experiences in my life that really started when I was early 20's. Certain churches, old buildings sets me off, major red flags, get out sort of feeling as if I'm a magnet/attractive to those spirits. Also those sprite boards, no way I refuse to do those, those invite all sorts of things to your home.
I don't mess around with that stuff, I don't want something attaching to me.
I meditate and try to revisit places I've stumbled upon before. Leaves me open to other entities, but apparently after last night I don't put up with their shit
Watch the show on Netflix called The OA. Come back and read this post after you finish it. Thank me later.
Also, on caffeine part, very unlikely. Do you regularly experience Deja Vu? Do you sometimes feel like you can anticipate what people will say? Do you feel very sensitive when watching television or movies or when in crowds, like you feel overwhelmed by emotions other people are experiencing?
What color makes you feel hot?
