While I don't at all dispute what you say, how far do you think we're all going to get doing this "one at a time?" Even if it worked, what's the plan for organizing and leading all of us, and a system in place to replace the one we are now opting out of? I know I don't have a brain big enough to manage that, and I sure do like not having to chase an animal all day just to get a decent meal. Another issue is that your idea, as well as my response, is taking place not in person, but over the web in a sort of turn based discussion. Those in power have created quite the briar patch when you think about how they have not only made us slaves to a monopolistic system, but added to that a virtual world that has pretty much sucked everyone into itself, giving us an outlet for this anger and frustration in a place where nothing of value can ever be gained or lost. Had the Weimar republic had such power, I doubt that the National Socialists would have ever broken the power of the bankers over their nation.
Don't get me wrong, these kinds of discussions are very important, but at some point, they have to take place in the old fashioned way; in person. We have to see each other eye to eye, to be in one another's physical presence in order for any real change to take place. This is where those of us on the right are at a bit of a disadvantage. The Left is comprised of so many completely useless and dependent people that they simply can't do really anything on their own as individuals. Everything they are, everything they accomplish, and everything they will ever be is dependent upon being part of some group or other, and therein lies their advantage when groups are needed for action. We on the right are, for the most part, strong individuals confident in our abilities, and secure in our accomplishments and identity. One on one, us versus them, it's no contest, we win almost every time. But, as individuals against a group of sufficient size, we simply cannot prevail, and would be picked off one by one; it's nothing more than a numbers game at that point. We on the conservative side (I use that term simply because it's convenient, but knowing where the whole right vs left construct comes from, I don't like it), have to learn to bring our individuality to strengthen a group of our creation. There simply is no other way.
I do see some value in this forum in which we are now having this conversation if for no other reason but to get it started. As for me, I meet with a group, and we hold our meetings in different places every month, cell phones go in a Faraday bag, and we leave them behind. We discuss many things, and plan for many different outcomes, but the most important thing we do is get to know and trust one another face to face. There is simply no other way. When people are added to our numbers, it's only after they've been thoroughly vetted and proven that they can be trusted. It's a slow process, but we are growing. The virtual world is a trap, and so much good energy is spent here fruitlessly, energy that could make a difference were it expended in something as simple as getting to know one's neighbors and acquaintances better. In this, we on this side can learn much from the "other" side.
Good post, great food for thought.
Have a good day.
Our rights were not stripped away overnight, it was done slowly over time. Therefore, humanity will not ever realize what happened overnight either. I like that you've created a group. But it will be infiltrated. It may already have been. The infiltrators always give themselves away though. They appear suddenly. With a strong voice. They want to assume leadership positions in the group, but few people know them. Trust no one except yourself. Good luck.
Yes, the way over used boiling frog example fits well here. Those who are controlling this have been playing the long game for centuries, and there simply aren't enough of us awake enough to do anything real about it, that's the unfortunate reality. I'm not one to give up though, and knowing how many, and the manner in which they have met their end at the hands of these people is enough to ensure that I don't ever give up. Infiltrators are a reality, and if there weren't at least one among us, I would find that unbelievable. We're careful to keep our subjects that we discuss on the legal side, and for now we get together so that in the event of something bad happening, we have each other to depend on. On the upside, no one leaves this world alive, and if all I'm able to do is grow old, or to at least choose my end, that's still more than I am entitled to. I just take each day as it is, and am thankful for what I find in it, and can make of it. Take care.
What I do, and how I live is very difficult. Not everyone can do it. People have homes, bank accounts, retirement accounts, etc, etc. I am able to do this because I have no dependence on gov't. Furthermore, I am not eligible for any assistance of any kind from gov't. It's a trade off that benefits me more than them.
what makes you think there needs to be a system ?
Short answer: Because some people suck, and without some sort of enforceable agreement in place they will do for themselves at any cost, with no regard for any consequences. It's taken me that long to reply to this because what you ask is not a simple question, and that's the shortest answer I can give. But then the enforceable agreement begs the question of who and how is it enforced, who makes the rules, and no matter what at some point a "system" of some sort will be in place, either by design, or through happenstance. Human nature being what it is, is not to be trusted, especially from the standpoint of a group.
