Your mother isn't who we need to be waking up. It's the white teens and young adults who are still of baby making age. I'm not saying that your mother starting her trip wouldn't be helpful. But helpful to what is the key. If it's just her telling her church bingo partners...it's meaningless. If its her instructing her daughters and granddaughters to open their eyes.. then that's helpful. Good luck to your mom on her journey, it won't be pretty and she'll want to rush back to the familiar. You must encourage her to go on and learn more. Observe more and above all ask questions aloud.
