We left for Cancun Monday, Nov. 8th. The same day OBidens new changes to travel orders came through. "US citizens must be tested 24hrs. prior to their flight, and present a negative holocough test" (Foreigners entering, must have the clot shot) We returned Friday Nov. 12th. My wife, myself, and three friends. Two of them are RN's, the other works at a clinic, all have had the jab and the boosters, but the wife and I have not, and will not. We all got tested ($25 US, but the price can be haggled and one guy said "guaranteed to pass!) Get to the airport and the check in is insanity and totally backed up from the bullshit. You have to fill out the first form stating you haven't had a fever, ect. Then a form saying Vaxxed or Un-Vaxxed, if Vaxxed "Show your papers!" (Which they actually checked for counterfeits) and finally when you're at the end "Your negative Covid test". So the five of us go through this bullshit (This is where it gets good/interesting) We get to the end and the lady from AA asks my wife and If "We are Vaccinated?" to which I replied "Nope!" She says "Do you have a negative Covid test results?" I said "Yeah" she doesn't look at them just smiles and says "Ok, enjoy your flight." Our three Vaccinated friends step up, same series of questions, but they check their Jab papers, and Covid tests, some by three different people each. Our one friend hadn't received his test and his RN wife was throwing a fit, because "He's at least been Vaccinated!" To which the AA lady says "I understand but if he doesn't show me that negative test in 10 minutes, he's going to have to stay in Mexico until he gets a new one!"

•The best part for me was the utter confusion and anger on the faces of our friends when the Vax Cards meant jack shit •My confusion is why they gave two shits about our test results since we was un-jabbed

Where should I stay there if I go, any tips...

Sure, a lot of our friends stay at the giant resorts, but for me I hate large crowds so we stay at a smaller joint in the hotel zone called Hotel Nyx (4th time at this hotel). Its size means little to no crowds, or waits for food/drinks. The food and drinks are excellent which is a selling point for me as I'm a chef. All inclusive (all you can eat drink) runs from $100 - $200 a night (that includes your room) some tips:

• Avoid the late spring & summer months as the seaweed is so bad it makes the ocean disgusting •Always find private airport transfer ahead of time, so you aren't crammed in a van with a bunch of fucks, stopping at several hotels along the way. We use USA Transfer (drop off and pick up for 5 was $75usd round trip) •I always bring about $100usd in singles. Tipping is not required and 99% of people don't, but when you hook up the guy bringing you drinks/food with a few bucks here and there you will be treated like a king and never have an empty drink or belly, pissing off the non-tippers as he walks past them with your order every time! •Moderate your eating/drinking as nothing will ruin your vacation faster than over indulging in to much of both spending valuable time stuffed and/or hungover which is rather easy to do, trust me from experience!

We always go in November, end of rainy season, and right before the tourist season. You'll find cheaper airfare. The location of that hotel is fantastic, There is a fancy mall near by, a La Europea (think that's how its spelled) I picked up 2 5ths of Cuban rum, 2 pints of local tequila and a 5th of high end mezcal for $65usd. Also beside that is the only officially licensed Cuban cigar shop. The guys selling "cubans" on the beach are just weed dealers, decent weed, but high prices
