There are electronic blocks in legos. For like 20+ years. Also none of what you said makes it some remotely great programming anything. Had he said "greatest creative sandbox video game" then yes. He said programming. It's not even top 50% of the best programming 'experiments'.

Garry’s Mod is a relatively unknown game that surpasses Minecraft in every aspect. Not to mention a gorillion other games.
