Anyway I have always believed in quality tools, you get what you pay for basically. As I use them less and less (gettin older) I dont feel like paying for the best any longer as they wear out. Now Im not buying new Makita batterys at the price they cost anymore.

This is on woot. https://tools.woot.com/offers/sata-18v-1-4-drive-hex-brushless-impact-driver-2?ref=w_cnt_wp_2_8

Here it is an amazon https://www.amazon.com/SATA-18-Volt-4-Inch-Brushless-Lithium-Ion/dp/B088GQJDR9

Some stuff is worth buying top tier, but if it's something I know I won't use much I'll get a harbor freight. I keep an envelope in the tool box with the receipt. They want that for warranty now.

I bought a ball joint press from them for an old dodge I had. It worked for that. It was for a one time use (hopefully). I loaned it to another and it bent and was fucked up royally.

Try to warranty it?

Nah, I bought it like 12 years ago and loaned it out last year. Like I said I got it expecting a one time use. If I was a real mechanic I would have bought better.
