Brave Rewards

Honestly I have no idea how Brave Rewards would work to help the site, but apparently I earn their crypto by using their browser, and that crypto can be manually, or auto-donated, to sites I frequent.

Maybe the admins here, or a kind user with the knowledge or time to investigate, could find a way to have poal accept these crypto donations to help pay for the site.

That's sketchy and features like that is why I'm probably going to stop using brave once I research alternatives.

It's a privacy focused browser, it should browse and that's it. You want your privacy focused browser to not only maintain an account with you, but to actively make transfers to the privacy focused free speech website you frequent so there's lots of digital trails connecting everything together?

Lol, there's literally no connection to me. I don't have an account, they don't have my email, they don't have my name. It's crypto...it runs on a blockchain...the blockchain is the "account."

I'm technical and understand both crypto and security. I'm not going to argue this with someone who clearly doesn't understand how it works. If you want crypto do real crypto and isolate it from other activity.

I upvoted just to counteract the voat-fagging, but my instincts say this is more trouble than it's going to be worth. Not an informed opinion just a gut feeling.
