I keep goats and one of the first things you learn is that ivermectin has lost its ability to kill parasites in goats due to "overuse". There are several choices of different classes of deworming meds depending on which parasite you're targeting, and it is always recommended to run a fecal to avoid medicating for something that isn't there(each med only works on particular parasites), as well as to monitor when your chosen med is no longer working and you need to either combo two classes or bring out the big guns.

The benefits of using natural worming is that there is not any evidence that parasites build up a tolerance to them, and they kill a broader spectrum of parasites than the pharmaceutical choices. In addition to this, some are known to dissolve the protective casing some parasites have, some kill eggs, others improve gut bacteria and stimulate the immune system, and they do not have negative side effects for most people. Giving goats natural wormer without having access for them to browse on their own is difficult. But luckily it's not to dose a human.

Black walnut, clove, and wormwood tincture is a popular dewormer. It's gnarly(really, really gnarly), but it's an effective combination. While politics are happening around ivermectin, this is something that is not on anyone's chopping block.

Just wanted to throw that out there.

Also interesting enough, I get allergy migraines frequently and I take two droppers full of this tincture and it gets rid of it every time. Much easier on the stomach and liver than migraine meds.

Stay healthy.

So you think the wormwood drops can work for skin problems? Interesting. I was considering picking some of that stuff up.

I tried damn near everything else to no effect. I figured it is either a really strong fungus, or maybe even skin cancer.

I'm in the age group that dies from opportunistic infections, cancers, etc, hence the need for enhanced supplements. They do help.

I heard somewhere about wormwood and cancer, so why not experiment? It's only $20. Probably $10 if I shop around.

Wormwood is very bitter, not that unlike how pine needles are a bit bitter, or dandelions are bitter, bitterness seeming to be a common theme in natural anti - cancer, bacterial, fungal, and viral treatments. Our common diets being very much the opposite of bitter. Cancer, Lord Beetus, etc, are sugar diseases. Some bacteria and some fungi love sugars too.

Whatever it is, the wormwood is killing it.
