This will be my final post regarding this mysterious illness I came down with a few days ago. Here's the last sub: https://poal.co/s/TellPoal/445112

My temperature has been 98.6 all day today. I feel fine, maybe a little tired, but otherwise I am absolutely fine. I probably had a cold or sinus infection. I felt like shit for two days, started feeling better yesterday, and today I feel almost fully recovered. My immune system did its job.

I made the original post, because in this fucked up medical-tyrant state we're living in, being sick is like a fucking mark on you. And I began to question what I knew to be the truth, I know that covid is bullshit- it's either not real, a re-branded flu, or not nearly as dangerous as they've been telling us.

I became distressed, concerned about this affecting my ability to work. 2 years ago, this would've been as simple as "I'm going to call out for 2 days because I have a fever, I don't want to get any of my co-workers sick". But now, companies have an absolutely hysterical reaction to a sick employee. If I showed up to work, and they took my temp and saw it was 100.8 on Wednesday, they would've sent me home, ordering me to get a covid test before I am allowed to return to work. They would've closed the shop to get everyone else tested.

They make it into this huge fucking deal, make you feel like you're in extreme danger. I think this fucks up your immune system- when stressed, your body dumps out cortisol, a stress hormone, because you're concerned about the future of your job/life/family. This weakens your immune system.

You guys gave me a needed morale boost. You guys helped me reaffirm my beliefs, helped me to remain confident in what I know and in my ability to overcome what is truly a minor illness. I followed some of your advice, taking zinc supplements, Vitamin C, all that good stuff. And now I'm fine. And I owe a lot of this to you guys who eased my initial concerns.

Thank you, cousins. I hope you are all remaining healthy. Getting sick today is a huge deal now because apparently the government and employers are now responsible for your health.

Have a little more zinc and tonic, just to be double sure.

I should've been taking zinc supplements all along, as it's often more preventative than curative. Zicam claims it can reduce the duration of colds, and you dissolve the tablets sublingually (under the tongue) so it probably absorbs better into your bloodstream. Leaves a nasty taste in your mouth, so I wash it down with two bottles of water.

You need a zinc ionophore to get the zinc inside your cells for the best antiviral protection. Think of it as a zinc activator.

Tonic water and green tea are two effective zinc ionophores.

There are others. You actually do normally get a lot of zinc in your regular diet. A single chicken egg has about 4mg, and your daily requirement is only 15mg. In this sense, consuming the zinc ionophore is probably more important than the zinc tablets themselves.

I just take both for the overkill:)

I haven't had eggs in a while, I used to have them daily... maybe I should get back to that.

green tea acts as a zinc ionopore

I did not know that. Do you have a source for that information?

The tonic has lots of sugar and hardly any quinine.

Better off with quercetin, or hydroxychloroquine

Yes, if you can get it.

If not, tonic water is sold in most variety stores and supermarkets.
