China is having power problems. They didn't ban BTC for the eighth time because it's bad m'kay. They did it because they can't keep power plants on (no power = no mining). No, they aren't suddenly becoming inspired by climate change shrieking faggots either. Since the world shut down its own economy, production capacities have dwindled in many places and plenty of people are out of work, especially in the big developing countries. This has put a lot of pressure on China to meet demands of all kinds of people, flooding shipping lanes, halting production capacities and burdening itself to the extent it can't make up for how thin it's being spread. Now, since China's essentially a paper tiger, their inadequate infrastructure is manifesting in several ways: buildings are collapsing because they built shopping malls and big apartment complexes with cardboard, their power systems were also built by retards and they're scurrying while trying to keep the lights on in most provinces. There's like four provinces in China that aren't shutting down power by choice at the moment. So now supply shortages are manifesting around the world because they aren't producing themselves and China isn't producing either because the lights are getting shut off. The world is running out of backup plans and we're further restrained due to everyone else is too busy being scared in to complying with just staying in their homes and buying everything on Amazon.
We could go deeper and explain more about what the aims are, how things developed and more, but I'll save you from all of that.
