...and I want a refund on the last year and a half of societal hysteria.

Symptoms: Nose ran like a faucet initially, then settled down into a mild runny nose. Mild sinus congestion, slight cough from nasal drainage, mild chest pressure, tiredness, and slightly decreased oxygen capacity. I ran three miles yesterday and it felt like I'd gone up 3-4000 feet in altitude. Inconvenient, but no big deal. Cold symptoms are typically worse than this.

The irony is that I caught it from some mask and vax cultists who were convinced their surgical masks, jabs, and social distancing would protect them. I've resisted the urge to remind them that I did warn them that their medical theater was useless.

I'm looking forward to being a naturally immune pureblood in short order.

I hear sleeping on your stomach and moving around as much as possible are highly recommended by the old school nurses. (The ones who cared for the sick before the days of tiktok and the internet in general)

[–] 0 pt

Sleeping on my stomach helps quite a bit with drainage and particularly the chest pressure. Which is unique to this - I'd otherwise never sleep on my stomach.

We all change positions several times throughout the sleep cycle. Nobody 'sleeps on their stomach' or side or back, that is a myth.

sleeping on your stomach

Way to get snot all over your pillow.

I hear sharing your dick pics with fellow poaler bears can be an amazing stress reliever. Why don’t you try it? Just pm me

When I got it I thought it was a joke. I had the same attitude. I woke up one day. I coughed soon as I woke up. Literally one cough. cough I thought “wow, that felt a bit scratchy”. You know those cold coughs. But I felt fine. Eventually I noticed I couldn’t smel Anything. So I just chilled out at my apartment for a few days. Smell came back. Bam. Done. Easy. The least sick Iv ever been in my Life. I felt 100% normal. I liked it, it gave me an excuse to tell everybody to leave me the fuck alone.

TBH I'd prefer this over the common cold where I'd normally end up with a bad cough for weeks and raw sinuses. A mild cough, the sniffles, being tired, and modestly lower oxygen capacity just feels like I stayed up too late and went hiking in the mountains in allergy season - and I do that voluntarily.

I'd rather have this than the regular cold/flu. When I was over it, it was a week total. With the cold and flu it usually lingered for a few weeks for me.

If you didn’t experience loss of taste/smell, chances are good it isn’t covid.

[–] 1 pt

That doesn't always happen, it's actually kind of uncommon. Out of the 50 or so people I know that had the stuff, only 1 (me) had the taste thing.

[–] 1 pt (edited )

Strange, it’s listed among the most common symptoms. Some of them had to mistake it for a common cold unless they were all tested.

[–] 0 pt

Complete loss of taste is a thing with colds, it's (probably) due to inflammation of the nerves that help with taste and smell.

It's far more common with this particular cold than others, but overall it's kind of rare so being more common just means that 1 out of 100 experience it instead of 1 out of 1000. (not actual data, just an analogy)

[–] -1 pt

It's common, but not 100% of the time. I know a couple people who got it (same source, same time) and it was a toss-up whether they lost their sense of smell/taste or not. Probably dependent on whether the 'rona primarily impacts their nerves or inflames something else.

muh random phantom symptom that popped up in mid-late 2020

covid doesn't exist. You're a kike.

One can believe in it without thinking it’s a big deal. I don’t fear it.

[–] 0 pt

The literal ONLY reason you believe the jew lie is because it holds fear over your 'mind'. You're an NPC. You fear. That's what you do.

I experienced this, spouse did not. Antibody tested last week. None for me, high amount for spouse. Everything is smoke and mirrors.

I got it early. 20 months ago. Mild dry cough for 2 days. Natural immunity.

THAT SOUNDS SCARY! WHY DIDN'T YOU GO TO THE HOSPITAL! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

It's the common fucking cold, people. I love the stories they push about people who aren't sick who test positive for the rona therefore MUST be in quarantine.

The symptoms are distinct from the common cold (I've never had a cold that resulted in this distinct sense of chest pressure and decreased oxygen capacity no matter how congested I was), but in terms of severity...yeah, this isn't much worse than a cold. I want a freaking apology from everyone who lost their minds over this nothingburger.

Feeling tired like I stayed up overnight, having the sniffles, and breathing like I'm up in the mountains is unpleasant but doesn't justify much more than going to bed early. Heck, I have dexamethasone on hand and could easily go buy ivermectin (for my...uh...horse) but this "pandemic" is so weak that it's not worth bothering taking more than some OTC decongestants.

Coronaviruses account for about 20% of what is called the common cold.

Of course if you were a 400 pound sedentary lard bucket you would be in trouble.

[–] 0 pt

It's probably just a cold. The Corid virus is quite distinct -- it will be unlike anything you've ever had before. Not bad, just different. If you do have Covid, look out for the loss of your sense of smell for a while, and a dry, persistent cough that doesn't want to go away even after the disease is long finished.

For the first time in literally a decade, I got sick last year, in 2020, sometime around January. I haven't gotten sick since and I've felt pretty damn good the entire time with no worry. I'm pretty sure I have herd immunity so I don't really give a fuck about the virus myself.

[–] 0 pt

You have a cold.

jewflu exists goyim!!!

Fuck off. It's October. You have the flu, that or you're fat as fuck. Statistically speaking it's likely the latter.

More and more people are starting to realize covid is a fabrication. A made up illness of health problems people do to thsemselves.

TIME FOR MORE I HAVE COVID THREADS.
