Let me follow up on this a little bit with a real world example. I used to live in apartment buildings. One time I lived in a building where the super was a class A1 total prick. At first I resented this greatly. Too many rules for starters. However, in time, I came to appreciate that the place stayed clean. No garbage gathering anywhere and everything worked as it was supposed to. There was always available parking for my guests in the guest parking lot. No broken laundry machines. No unsavory types lurking about where they should not be. No one fucking with my car in the parking garage. Stuff like that. Yes the super was a prick, but he ran a tight ship, and he ran it well. He had his shit together and I learned to respect that, because the results were plain to see. Poal is kinda like that too. Stuff just seems to run well.
