I ordered a Moto G50 for £170, I was wanting them to get cheaper than that still, but I couldn't wait any longer.

Modems and routers have started using 5G long time ago. It's already too late.

Um, 5G for phones is not the same as 5 GHz for WiFi routers. The frequency range for 5G cellular can go up to 60 GHz and there are plans for going up to 90 GHz. You are confusing 5th generation with 5 GHz frequencies. That's apples and niggers for comparison. Educate yourself.
