Apparently, they had so few people to man the (rural) routes, that bussing was running on a delay. Seems like both the "Get the jab!" nonsense and the lack of people who want to drive a bus full of screaming kids for $12.50 an hour is hitting them hard.

you ever get that feeling when you look at something and you want to hurt it as much as possible and kill it. We’ll just go through with it. I think everyone gets these feelings they just don’t act on it. Like when you see a puppy and you want to stomp it into a bloody mess. Cats make my blood boil. When they hiss or fight back. It’s like a high when you’re acting on these urges. Like a demon taking control of your brain or something. It feels evil and yet it feels so good. So so good
