Apparently, they had so few people to man the (rural) routes, that bussing was running on a delay. Seems like both the "Get the jab!" nonsense and the lack of people who want to drive a bus full of screaming kids for $12.50 an hour is hitting them hard.

Yes, you are right. My mom teaches and for the past few years has said sometimes it takes an hour for kids to get home due to bus drivers having to do multiple runs thru her district. The reason for their shortage is shit pay, but something had to have changed in the particular area.
