Apparently, they had so few people to man the (rural) routes, that bussing was running on a delay. Seems like both the "Get the jab!" nonsense and the lack of people who want to drive a bus full of screaming kids for $12.50 an hour is hitting them hard.

I Drive a school bus here on Long Island. This year alot of people finally retired ( lots of retirees and close to it take this gig. I'm one of them) so the company I work for is also really hit hard. I think people bailed because they saw the writing on the wall. As for me if it gets to it I'm making them fire me. Not there yet though
