I get depressed when I realize that we probbaly won’t ever leave the galaxy. And all the other galaxies are moving too far too fast for us to ever make it there either. One day they won’t even be visible. The sky will be empty. In all likelihood we won’t even leave the solar system. Why space GottA be so big and beautiful and out of our reach. What happens when all matter decays. Does it all become a big nothing anyways

Look on the bright side, the Andromeda galaxy will collide with the Milky Way in two billion years. That's like visiting another galaxy, if we are still alive by then (very unlikely).
