Lol, everyone will end up with $20.
Class action suits mostly just make lawyers rich. Note the law firm.
To save anyone time, the participating states are: California, District of Columbia, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, or Wisconsin
Lol, everyone will end up with $20.
Or in the case of the Equifax class action settlement, most people will get nothing because the cap on payouts was way below the damages incurred. The (((lawyers))) didn't reduce their cut, but most everyone who filed got a small fraction of their losses or nothing at all.
Class action lawsuits serve only two (((purposes))):
- make (((lawyers))) richer through legal money laundering
- get people to opt out of bringing lawsuits that could result in much bigger losses for the company.
Think about it this way. If Mega Corporation X is facing billions in potential lawsuits from damages, wouldn't it be easier to hire some (((lawyers))) to bring a class action against them and then get a crony judge to set a fixed settlement cap at a much lower amount? Corp X could then pay the (((lawyers))) their fee (money laundering) to have baited a bunch of suckers, er, customers into forfeiting their right to litigate on their own with Corp X. It's a win-win for (((Corp X))) and the (((lawyers))). It's jews all the way down on class action suits. Don't fall for this (((trick))).
