So my Green Party relative and her best buddy are driving around with their masks on in the car last night. She's stopped by to deliver a dozen organic eggs from the free range hens.

She digs out a Green Party sign from a stack of signs in the trunk and asks if I want to put it in my car window. Hell No, I say. People around here are burning signs now, and I don't want someone burning my car, or my house, or throwing rocks at me, (rock throwing is new in Canada.)

Then I say, I'm probably not voting anyways. None of the parties represent my interests so there is none to vote for.

Then she's like Well you have to vote. We fought a war so you can vote. It is disrespectful to the sacrifice made if you don't vote.

Fine, I say, I'll vote for the first party that will get rid of the masks.

That shut them up right quick.

I hate tater tots, but frozen potato products aren't fried until you fry them, and there's generally nothing wrong with frying foods. Just use real oils instead of partially hydrogenated oils, like "vegetable oil". I prefer peanut oil and bacon fat for my frying.

Potatoes are vegetables. Roots, not fruits. Calm down on the potatoes man, I'm like 45% Irish over here.
