Roll Call ... the results are in. After running the roll call for 24 hours, the final stats are in. This clearly shows that there are approximately twelve users on Poal (+/- two or three just because), and two of these are admins.

That brings us to the conclusion made earlier by someone else ... I think it was @germanshepard, but I'm old and I forget ... that not counting the admins, there are really only ten to twelve people here on Poal ... every other user is an alt of one or more of those.

This was an in-depth scientific study ... and is hereby declared 'settled science'. Prove me wrong.

Mostly the same names are making posts or comments.

However, and backed by the fact I missed this post yesterday, I've noticed it is harder and harder to espy every post. There are clearly more contributions happening (pic8.co).

The downside I'm experiencing with Poal, is not that there isn't interesting topics being posted, it is that there is a lack of conversations happening in the comment sections.

A lot of folks speak abut the lack of comments, but I think that's more a problem with this type of forum, rather than exclusive to Poal. It's really hard to get folks engaged in conversation. Unless you have a zillion users, my thought is this aspect will always lag behind.

There's two more that lurk more than i do, @Athena and @Hephaestus

Athena might see this ping, while Hephaestus might not notice for a week or two. he prefers his forge over sitting at a computer most days.

i only log in when i can be cryptic or vague with mythology, or to post with a specific purpose. These 'levels' mean nothing to me, so i see no point to chaseing a higher #.

Yeah, there's actually a lotta folks here ... many are like you and drop by less than others. This whole thread was made as a joke more than anything - LOL.
