You are right, OP must relax, it is just two more weeks to flatten the curve and then everything goes back to normal.
We've all gotta go sometime. I suppose just maintain a positive lifestyle and keep your ducks in a row for when you go right?
I'd be more concerned about despotic government officials.
Fear of a biological attack leads directly to forced vaccination: Whoever buys the tools from Amazon needed to create the next big virus, might not be sane or competent enough to design a selective release of the payload, the virus will just kill everybody. In this case, we need vaccines in huge numbers, created days after the virus emerges. Viral vector and mRNA vaccines can do that. But their trials need a decade, and the attack could start tomorrow. So we need huge trials now - billions of human rat labs at once. It may cost millions of lives, deaths that could be avoided if we start with small trials - but the attack could start tomorrow ...
A disease that kills everybody doesn't spread. It's not a global threat, although it could be used to cripple the economy of a small region. And before you say "black death," the black death was caused by living conditions in European cities of the time. The diseases that spread worldwide don't kill people. Example, Covid. They are not a serious threat. The fact that the nations of the world have over-reacted to Covid does not make Covid dangerous. It isn't dangerous, in itself, although the vaccines for Covid are dangerous to us.
The biggest threat from a bio-weapon is a disease that kills a certain group or race, but doesn't kill the majority of the population, which can then spread it.
