The legit survey invitation text message comes from 39242. An email invitation comes from <COVID.survey@census.gov>.

The U.S. Census is conducting a COVID-19 survey, and this link is to the survey program home page. To date they are reporting reporting about 250,000,000 responses. The questionnaire applies to a household including all family members. Normally in a country with population of 340,000,000 I would expect the total sample size to be much smaller than 250,000,000. This is not a statistical sample, it looks to me to be the collection of a complete list. There are merely 6,000,000, "Did not report," responses on the data tables I'm looking at now. I will admit that I haven't fully digested the data tables and may misinterpret reports. It is more important to me that this be shared than to wait to provide the best analysis (which I wouldn't get around to anyway). The home page will help you find current results, survey methodology, the question list, etc. etc. Happy digging!

I have some questions about the nature of the survey and the use of the information, and my read on the law is not conclusive. - The Census Bureau may be a contractor for other parties whom wish to use them to conduct a survey. It is not clear whether or not this is the case for this survey from reading the survey information. - Your responses are individual and this information may be able to identify you, but they are not supposed to share these raw data. I expect the usual carve-outs for emergency. - Your responses may not be used to, "your detriment." - There was not a statement in United States Code (USC) which prohibits them from using this personal information to, "help you," such as to make sure you are receiving the psychiatric care you need or re-home you into a special community to protect people who are, "at-risk," for COVID-19.

Of note: - 206,000,000 reporting no COVID-19 diagnosis.

-

  • 194,000,000 all vaxxed up
  • 1,300,000 don't plan on being fully vaccinated
  • 1,000,000 did not report

Biggest reasons for not getting the vax (looks like you can select multiple) - Concerned about possible side effects: 22M - Plan to wait and see if it is safe: 15M - Don't trust COVID-19 vaccines: 17M - Don't trust the government: 15M

So, I guess we're at herd immunity with 95% vaccination, right? We can cut all this bullshit out now, because who wouldn't be afraid to tell the government that they are not vaccinated and don't have plans to be vaccinated for COVID-19. Excellent showing by the wreckers and saboteurs - may they not be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

On mental health we have: - 31,000,000 feeling nervous, anxious, or on edge nearly every day (anxiety) - 24,000,000 not able to stop or control worrying nearly every day (anxiety) - 20,000,000 having little interest or pleasure in doing things nearly every day (depression) - 20,000,000 feeling down, depressed, or hopeless nearly every day (depression) Double these numbers if you include, "More than half the days" 5x these numbers when you add in, "Several days"

Question - Biggest reasons for not getting the vax (looks like you can select multiple)

Where is the option to choose 'DOESN'T WORK' ?

It's in there, sort of: - I don’t know if a COVID-19 vaccine will protect me

Also missing: - The first injection was lethal
