Type 0 civilizations rarely get to be Type 1s. Mostly because of Jews and Niggers, and their alien equivalent.
Absolutely. Because of those shit humans (definitely not people) we will become extinct on this planet. Years ago I was holding on to hope that in my lifetime we could become type 1 and before I died, see progress to type 2. All is lost.

Warp tech is still a theory at best. Some other form of FTL travel could be discovered before warp.
