This was in south east pa towards philadelphia. so i was walking my dog at an "offleash" dog park. so i guess its really just on/off leash based on whatever the preference of the owner is. i've never seen such a rule enforced in the states i live in (montana and colorado). anyways, i went to the dog park this morning to walk my dog. the park was a roaming field with a fence, standard practice for a park, whatever. so i started walking my dog in the park on leash, and this group of people started yelling at me to offleash my dog. at first i thought there was an emergency or something, but apparently one of the dogs has a habit of attacking on leash dogs ... so i just decided to leave afterwards because i want to train my dog to be more social. if people are gonna be assholes about it whatever.

my dog got somewhat mouthy with one of the dogs there, and they told me there's no room for violence in this dog park. immediately after, his own dog started barking like mad at my dog, my dog wasnt barking back or anything, just visibly confused with all the comossion. i don't know, its a small thing, and it doesnt matter, but there's just something about a pa liberal where you want to take that 1911 in your car and just shoot them all, and have the vultures eat out their remians in minecraft.

Some time ago, I took my puppies to a dog park. Just as we got through the gate, a husky and a rottweiler came running from about 50 yards away, growling and pinned my pups into a corner. Their owner came running behind them trying to call them back, but they didn't listen. Scared the fuck out of my puppies (me too).

The guy said the husky just wanted to play but sometimes the rott was aggressive. Then he led his dogs back to the other side of the park where his family was picnicking.

We stood there for a minute or so, but my pups decided this wasn't a fun place to be. On the way out, I reviewed the rules on the sign at the entrance. Aggressive dogs and dogs that don't respond to verbal commands need to be leashed and muzzled.
