I thought I was getting either sinus infection or throat infection early summer. Had some Oscillococcinum (homeopathic, for flu symptoms, but what the heck) on hand, so started taking as suggested on the box. Cleared it up. Felt the difference by the second dose, but kept taking for 4-5 days. In the past, something like this has required at least one antibiotic, sometimes more. All the other suggestions are good, too, but I already take them, and still had the terrible pain.
