20 years ago Fort Wayne was considered by many to be Indiana's version of Michigan's Detroit or Flint. I can't imagine it has gotten better and keeping away at any cost is likely the best course.

A lotta Whites and apparently one of inidanas safest cities. Aint been too bad but god damn. Its pretty bad.

I'm surprised and also glad to hear that it is not as bad as I recall it being. That bypass to wrap around the city instead of needing to go through it was very welcome back then when they finished it. I wonder how much that had an impact on the city's economy and demographics and if it was helpful in slowing, stalling or reversing its path to 'the dark side'.
