My dad was a drill sergeant in the marines. I grew up thinking that after the "look" comes the rage.

But as an adult I only just discovered that the look is the only moment you get to be angry. Someone crosses the line. You look at them like you're about to duel. Picture punching them, whatever. But that is all you get. Then you resume behaving like a gentleman.

Lol for years the anger didnt really begin until after the look. The look was when I was deciding just how explosive i was about to get on this person.

My process concerns terrible levels of anger and violence that I wouldnt expect too many people to understand. Realizing the look even existed took me years. I always percieved it as a period similar to a fuse being lit. It didnt just stop there.

It is such a big day for anger management for me.

I get it.. I was raised by a narcissistic, alcoholic shrew, I never knew when the hammer was going to fall. That said, children need protected not abused. Glad you got a hold of the beast..
