Apparently a couple weeks ago an israeli cybersecurity firm had sold a virus to many intel agencies around the world which had been used ilegally (but legal????? i guess???? ) to spy on human rights activists even resulting in their executions. no reason why they would not infect anyone who has ever visited this site.

cyber security does not exist. 3 weeks ago there was a zero day exploit found in a windows printer spooler. that is 20 years that the bug could have been exploited by a population of 6 billion. assume there is a virus on your computer regardless. a properly made virus can't be removed.

What program can be used to check?

Apparently a digital rights group coded a program that detects the Israeli spyware. That's how they found out human rights activists were targeted.
