Sounds purposefully.....dissonant?
Doesn't sound bad it sounds good.
Yup, the piano chords are 7ths, root note at top, middle note, then the bass note is one off yhe top note.

Good job. If only there was a thread each Friday night to share your music.
To create music for its own sake it probably the best reason. I feel like self-expression through music is pretty pointless, nobody is ever going to understand your point of view.
I know how much work recording is too. I didn't realize until I formed a band in my 20s and my friends/band turned out to be so lazy that it ended up being all for nothing. I don't even play anymore.
Its not necessarily 'being lazy'.
I never got access to either classical music or music technology education, I had to spend my whole life self learning how to make my songs.
I didn't mean you being lazy, I was talking about my bandmates from back then. Getting them to practice was like pulling teeth. I would spend day after day recording tracks and then they wouldn't even run through them for more than a half hour, ended up being all for nothing.
It's a bassline. Now you need some drums and a melody, and you're ready to tour.
... Theres a melody too, it was too loud, I turned it down and the piano chords up, now its all chords and bass and no melody.
Mastering is a bitch, will complete the track first before trying to get every track to to stand out.
So the bass was too loud and washing out either the piano lines.
.... There are drums.
Sounds like ketamine
>Why even bother?
Music is the best.
