So my job is running into another issue. As they were telling me being a developer is 25% coding, 75% cross team coordination to ensure the feature is rolled out to DEV, INT and QA. That's right developers have dedicated responsibility of pushing changes to 3 environments without prior approval from QA team. The reason is simple, because we dont really have a QA/testing team, just developers who act as QA. So now the team is looking for a senior QA lead, there's just one problem: they want a senior software developer/manager who can act as a lead QA for normal QA salary. They are also being super picky about it, because they want so many things in this new person, they will essentially never find this person, especially not for the price they want

This is one dysfunctional team/company if apparently being a developer is 25% of your total time as a developer. But yeah, its gonna be an h1b all the way
