So we just deployed my changes. My change was tiny, it was simply enabling logging and adding a testing endpoint for a queue. Somehow, the mother of all bugs has occured, failures everywhere. The fucking structural code didnt change! All i did was expose an endpoint to allow people to audit what was going on internally, but holy shit is my manager pissed at me right now. Jokes on him, i dont give a shit if this project explodes into flames

That is an interesting observation. At some point, even Kost Reduced Kumar's continual fuckups has to be more expensive than just hiring an on-shore team to do it right the first time.

I guess it all stems from the transient nature of the C-level these days. C-dude saved money, got a bonus, noped the fook out, leaving the next sap to clean up.
