I've seen a few people in my neighborhood with U-Hauls and moving trucks, but my friend who lives in a apartment building closer to downtown says that sheriffs have already kicked out a few people from his building since about 8am today. Apparently they're going by when the evictions were filed by the courts, some dating back to February, 2020.

Ever since ive witnessed a drastic decline in willingness to work.

PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR JOBS MAKING $400/WEEK NOW NEED UNEMPLOYMENT STIMULUS BONUSES OF $600 EXTRA FOR SITTING AT HOME!!"

It'll get worse. They are already starting to push a third dose against the delta variant. Having learned nothing many nations have already prepared a new wave of shutdowns. I hate to even think what this next year will bring. Buy food, buy ammo, keep your head down.

To be fair, some lines of work these days, computer based, and be done just as effectively from home.

I won't be mourning the loss of a local beauty salon. Though, there is a bar just up the street from me I liked, and they had to close permanently.

Automotive everything business is completely fucked but new construction is record setting. Trucking is booming but nurses got laid off. Booming businesses get to pay shit now.
