If you only speak AAVE, you don't know that.

If you don't speak ebonics, then at least try to use the right words.

That being said, one of my fav old jokes about the South: Couple went to dinner with new neighbors. Evangeline being a dyed in the white sheet southern Belle inquires "Where ya'll from?" The Yank woman replies, "From a part of the country where we don't end a sentence with a preposition." Belle pauses smiles sweetly "Ok, where ya'll from Bitch?"

Basic English grammar. It's one of the most important things you can learn in your lifetime, because it enables you to express yourself clearly without appearing to be ignorant or stupid. Yet it does not seem to be taught in the schools these days. The mistakes in grammar that otherwise intelligent people commit are appalling. Nothing is worse when making an impression on other people than bad grammar, with the exception of bad spelling, and not being able to write, but being forced to block-print like a retarded 5-year-old.

Language is literally the basis of thought. If you cannot express yourself properly, you cannot think properly.

Today, I saw an insurance document that described a "byladderal" injury. For fuck's sake.

That's when you stack two ladders and then fall off of the stack of ladders. But even then it should be "biladderal"
