LOL. I remember having this exact SAME conversation back in the day on VOAT. You could host that site on a Commodore 64 with a string and tin can modem and it would be just fine.

Yep. I remember people arguing that "There are tons of pictures and videos on here, DERP!" and I had to explain that nothing but text was actually on the site and that all content was hosted elsewhere. And I also, like you, am NOT a computer guy. I understand the basics (And maybe a bit more, depending on exactly what category we are talking about), obviously, but apparently there are a lot of people on the internet who don't even have that level of competence.
