It should be unattractive to be unproductive. No one on 100% welfare should have AC, be able to buy prepared food, have a car, have a solo room at a hospital, etc.

It is one thing to sustain them, and a whole other to pamper them, sometimes higher than productive people. If you have $1500/mo health insurance you have to pay out of pocket for things like ER, meds, etc. If you are on medicare you don't. On medicare you get the same treatment, same hospitals, same birthing suite with the same food and so on. For someone not on medicare they get to pay their insurance (in lost wages or directly) and then also get to spend thousands for treatment. Productive people also don't get to buy whatever they want for food, because that money comes out of their family pool that has to pay for housing, schools, medical, utilities, etc.

The medical system in the usa is a monopoly designed to extract all your wealth.

Its problems have nothing to do with welfare etc.
