So, for the longest time, since myself were underestimated and disrespected by adults, I've thought about the fact that children do indeed have a functioning consciousness, and that even though they are not able to construct the words "why do you let yourself be controlled by your emotions" they are able to perceive these things. as in, one thing I've always hated, is how adults talk to children in a condescending way.. as they don't think the children are able to understand certain things. I firmly hold the belief that children are inherently wiser then adults, all around. YES, they don't necessarily know the words or sentences to explain the "image" of what they perceive as true, but their "image" of understanding of any subject, is as coherent as any academic mind. though they lack the capacity to explain it coherently. we all control our bodies, as in, we can conscientiously control our mind, decide what to think, what to do, and what emotions to react to. so in school everything but this elementary understand of our capacity is taught. But the truth remains, children's capacity for learning is stunted and slowed down, to the point where they/we lose our interest in learning and exploring. so my question to Poal is this; when you talk to the small folk; do you even have a measure of respect for them? we all die, and we are all born. as I stated above, we control our bodies, so this means we are more then our flesh, this is not a question this is a fact. so this means, children are closer to the source of what we are, then adults. should they not be treated with reverence?
