This shit we believe about Northern European civilisation is bollocks I’ve come to realise. These people are streets, and about a millennium, ahead of us I’ve come to learn. Their language is basically their updated form of Latin harking all the way back to the Roman republic. They don’t have crime problems because they simply wouldn’t put up with it. The women dress revealingly due to the weather, but retain their modesty and dignity nonetheless; they’re like an example of what Northern European women should be like even if scantily clad. The children are all well behaved and respectful of their elders. I’ll admit I had some notions of Southern Europeans being workshy and lazy, but fact is despite the fact I rarely see them working everything is always clean, everything operates efficiently, and life is just good here. The Spanish have life figured out, and not a one of them gives a solitary fuck what we think of think of them. Viva España y viva el Rey de España!

If you like tatted up whores that have slept with the whole city, niggers absolutely everywhere, trash, graffiti, high prices, and a stench then go to Barcelona. They're proud of their city too is the crazy part.

One other thing I’ve already learnt here is the idea of “Spanish” is quite similar to the idea of “European”. Like sure I’m a European, but it’s very much a distant secondary identity for me compared to being Irish. The Spanish think that way about Spain - they’re all Galician or basque or whatever first and Spanish quite a distant second. I don’t see Spain remaining the impression of unitary state they currently are for very long, and oddly the more EU integration advances the more the breakup of countries like Spain (primarily) but also Italy, Britain and probably even Germany also advances. Why stay in these weird federalist structures if your weird federalist structure is actually the EU? If the EU federalists get their way we could be pushing 150 separate countries in this small continent easily enough.
