Congrats!
Buy diapers now. You’ll need more than you think. Same goes for baby clothes. No telling how fucked things are going to get in the next year.
Thanks, were definitely preppers and we got mountains of cloth diapers. All the prepping I do is geared towards getting away from consumables etc
I thought about cloth diapers but didn’t want to deal with the toilet hose. But in general I agree that getting away from consumables is a good idea. If SHTF, I’d switch to cloth.

That's great, we love it. The wife and I are watching now. Months ago we already stocked up on all the equipment necessary for years to come (training pottys, car seats, high chairs, etc.) most of it we managed to score for free in good condition. I believe that if you stock up on everything months or years ahead of time you place yourself in a position where you can afford to keep an eye out for the best deals, that's how we got our car too (2006 Chevy Equinox SUV in good condition, 120k miles for $3,000, especially impressive at a time when used car prices are skyrocketing everywhere).
My wife says she already knows about this stuff, EC or whatever. I have no idea about all of this. I've trusted her with all the mommy stuff, I've helped her become a good researcher and everything just like me. I want our family to have great instincts and be well informed etc. I take a lot of pride in that.
We plan on home schooling and I'm very confident our child will be so well educated with my guidance he'll look at standardized testing and laugh at it.
A mountain of diapers will last you a day.
And you'll be out of buttwipes.
My kids grew out of the small sizes fast then skipped some.
Be careful not to get 10k newborn ones.
