I stupidly decided to become the president, for some inexplicable reason. The amount of complaints i get over the dumbest, imaginable shit, is just mind boggling. It's like people are looking for shit to complain about, one guy tried to call the fucking cops on a barking dog. Like jesus christ, calm the fuck down. And the expectations are just dumb, they pay really low fees per year, but expect amenities you would find in a large metro city. The city cant even afford a barely new fire truck, what makes you think there's money for anything else?

we went to an open house at the fire station, where a blackboard was put up for "suggestions and comments". I saw two comments, in the same feminine handwriting:

  1. less taxes
  2. more services

just more examples of the dumbing down of America that has been going on for decades. one can only laugh, otherwise you will go insane.

Pretty much what i deal with here. People expect the fucking moon, and yet they pay nothing for it. But hey, we need blvd roads apparently, even though these same people live in cow country. The prior HOA went behind everyone's backs and bonded the entire county for a new fire truck, to the tune of 500,000. The county last year mad ea whopping 30,000 in tax revenue ... let that sink in just how fucked this place is come payment time
