I prefer StartPage or SearX. DuckDuckGo has been compromised.

DuckDuckGo doesn't use their own crawlers, they can only find what Google has found. But they remove some filter and sort algorithms and add some anonymity. Presearch does the same: https://presearch.org/

Good to know. I'm an old man when it comes to tech. I'm not up on it and don't really know much about other than knowing how to find what I want (except certain people's addresses).

I assume it is, but you get full results when searching questionable things unlike Google who only gives you Marxist results.
