While some companies have adjusted well to the new remote world, many are not willing to do so. I guessed last year that the "let everyone work remote!" would last just until things cleared up and bosses got antsy. Now that the government FUD about the plandemic is starting to fall away, companies are starting to tell people to get back in here, and all of the snowflakes are crying "But you said we could work from home foreverrrrrrrrrrr!"

After all, if your boss can't see your butt is in that seat, you obviously aren't working.
