There are a lot of articles coming out as well where people are quitting on the spot or switching to remote jobs. A lot of people moved away from the big cities and have no intention of going back or dealing with a boss that requires ass-in-chair workers.
I've seen the "I'm quitting!" stories as well. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
Hopefully a collapse of the current paradigm and an uprise in the gig/small business economy.
an uprise in the gig/small business economy.
Which actually means everyone begging for scraps and they bid each other lower and lower.
Companies didnt buy/build or aren't renting expensive ass office space for nothing. Those leases are typically very long term and nobody wants to downsize the physical office due to half the staff or more being remote. Obviously the larger the company, the bigger this issue becomes as well.
