So just watching my local morning propaganda up here in the Great White and they're doing a laugh at the "pants on backwards" schtick. Aired Jimmy Fallen cracking jokes and cited Snopes for fact checking 'no Trump was not wearing his pants on backwards'.
After the laughs, the traffic girl goes on her own and says this "I don't think we should be making fun; it's body shaming". GASP!!
As they all feign a smile in agreement, the weather guy says "well, after all Trump has said about others, it's only fair" Ahhhh yes, everyone nods in agreement. Traffic girl, "well, he's not on social media anymore and can't defend himself" Boooo. Commercial.
Well well well. I would have never known the new, young traffic girl would be so based. She is new, maybe a year or so and hasn't been broken in yet. As soon as that was over I had the sneaking suspicion her news mates shunned her. Probably had a reprimand by now and stern talking to. HOW DARE YOU. I have never seen one of the news people go on their own like that before when they decide to dog pile on Trump. Good on her.
