There are some people who are 100% demoralized, but there are many more who are only say 30%. Coming up with clever stuff to help nudge them back can do a lot to help stop the insanity.

This reasoning works in other areas too. If you believe you are fully vaccinated, then you are, and only bigots and racists would disagree or attack you.
