Exodus 14:14
The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”

And he said, “Listen, all Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: Thus says the Lord to you, ‘Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is not yours but God's.
1 Samuel 17:47
And that all this assembly may know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear. For the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hand.”
Don't forget all the verses too where God commands His children to stand up and wage war to defend their homes and families and to purge evil.

I'll do a couple examples from the Old Testament and one from the New.
The acts of David's mighty men in 2 Samuel 23:8-39. Fighting against the Canaanites who were continuing to spread the worship of Moloch. The same Canaanites who the jews kept forsaking God and following after.
Blessed be the Lord, my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight.
-Psalm 144:1
When rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem in Nehemiah according to God's commands:
And it came to pass from that time forth, that half my servants wrought in the work, and the other half of them held both the spears, the shields, the bows, and the habergeons. They which builded the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon. For the builders, every one had his sword girded by his side, and so builded.
-Nehemiah 4:16-18
And regarding providing for our dependents, shelter, food, safety.
But if any provide not for his own, and specifically for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
