Once I read an interesting text that compared gold and aluminium, the writer said that if gold disappeared from Earth, we would have a way to replace it with other metals and materials, but the same could not be done in relation to aluminium, because the disappearance of aluminium would make the world collapse.

And the same goes for gold in relation to oil or fuels.

Practically everything you use is petroleum based, whether as fuel, medicine, plastic and other materials in electronic equipment, etc.

Gold will last thousands and thousands of years... can be passed down through generations and you will be dust in just a few decades.... sure, I’ll listen to a moron.
