Once I read an interesting text that compared gold and aluminium, the writer said that if gold disappeared from Earth, we would have a way to replace it with other metals and materials, but the same could not be done in relation to aluminium, because the disappearance of aluminium would make the world collapse.

And the same goes for gold in relation to oil or fuels.

Practically everything you use is petroleum based, whether as fuel, medicine, plastic and other materials in electronic equipment, etc.

I invest in these little but powerful cylindrical things of brass and lead. When the SHTF, your gold coins won’t be worth a shit, unless of course you are willing to alloy them and smelt them down to cast them into projectiles.

Not just gold, which at least is still a real thing, but imagine idiocies like Bitcoin, etc, there will be idiots killing themselves when they found out that there is no use for these virtual coins.

No kidding. What fools. People buy gold and silver on paper. That’s what I thought was the height of stupidity, and then came Bitcoin. I think these fucktards should favor us by running headfirst into traffic.

There’s gold backed crypto now lol. Combine all of the above
