Once I read an interesting text that compared gold and aluminium, the writer said that if gold disappeared from Earth, we would have a way to replace it with other metals and materials, but the same could not be done in relation to aluminium, because the disappearance of aluminium would make the world collapse.

And the same goes for gold in relation to oil or fuels.

Practically everything you use is petroleum based, whether as fuel, medicine, plastic and other materials in electronic equipment, etc.

Gold and bitcoin are currencies.

How dumb are you not to understand the concept of a currency. You know invented in the bronze age so people didn't have to carry a silo of grain with them everytime they went to the shops and have to barter.

Currencies ain't going anywhere soon and will always be exchangable for commodities.

On the contrary, I understand that they are currencies, but in a catastrophic situation, they will have no value, but blind idolaters cannot see that.

Think, withouth a functioning tech bitcoin is nothing

Gold will survive happly

Also, why do you think (((banks))) required a legislation that basically forbids private citizen from owning a usable amount of gold ?

OK dunderhead, tell me when did gold last not have a value?

In a catastrophic survival situation, wait and see.

Work backed currency is the only thing that works. This removes deflation, inflation, and other such kikery. Read up on what Hitler did to the Deutschmark (That's it's name, right?) when he became leader.

You are right, the issue is "how do you transfer" the "work for one day" to something that is tradable ?

With "paper money" and a minimum of state backed infrastructure it is fairly easy

With electronic money.... not so fast, unless you end up to full big brother style banking

digital money

No. Never. Fuck that. Any form of nonphysical currency is purely jewish. More so than male genital mutilation and baby dick sucking.

Gold will last thousands and thousands of years... can be passed down through generations and you will be dust in just a few decades.... sure, I’ll listen to a moron.

I invest in these little but powerful cylindrical things of brass and lead. When the SHTF, your gold coins won’t be worth a shit, unless of course you are willing to alloy them and smelt them down to cast them into projectiles.

Not just gold, which at least is still a real thing, but imagine idiocies like Bitcoin, etc, there will be idiots killing themselves when they found out that there is no use for these virtual coins.

No kidding. What fools. People buy gold and silver on paper. That’s what I thought was the height of stupidity, and then came Bitcoin. I think these fucktards should favor us by running headfirst into traffic.

There’s gold backed crypto now lol. Combine all of the above
